Gabriels Stiletto..... The band formerly known as "gadget." is an alternative electro rock band based in Tokyo.
"gadget." was active until Dec. 2009. Then they started "Gabriels Stiletto" from Jan. 2010.
The music style is based on grunge, heavy metal, psychedelia, post punk, post hardcore, glam rock e.t.c. with industrial, electronica approach. The charactaristic of their sound is well explained as a combination of riffs and noise that stick to your brain, the melody that floats emortionally and yet psychedelically, the groove winds beneath it all in a tribal manner, and the primarily punk-ish stage performance. Carrying on the omnivorous nature of "alternative rock", they've acquired the support of broad audience.
While playing gigs mainly at underground events in Tokyo, they have established their cult fan base world wide through internet. This led them to their first Europe tour on 2008. On 2009, they made the come back for second Europe tour including shows at the Le Printemps de Bourges and L'Olympia in France. Then they toured Berlin and Paris in 2011 with Japanese V-Rock legend Kozi.
At present, they are working on their new album which will be the first album to be officially distributed world wide..

2009年12月まではgadget. (ガジェット)の名で活動。 メンバーチェンジを機に2010年よりGabriels Stilettoとして再スタートする。
その音楽スタイルは、grunge、heavy metal、psychedelia、post punk、post hardcore、glam rockといったジャンルをベースに、Industrial、elecrtonica的アプローチを施したハイブリッドロック。脳裏に焼き付くリフとノイズ、エモーショナルでありながらもサイケデリックに浮遊するメロディ、トライ バルにうねるグルーヴ、あくまでパンキッシュなステージング。オルタナティヴロック本来の雑食性を武器に、世界中にカルトなファンベースを築き、2008年、2009年、2011年と3度の ヨーロッパツアーを成功させる。
目下、正式世界流通第一作目となる最新アルバムを制作中。
